5th Guards Tank Army situation assessment (part of):

Das Reich is heavily reinforced SS Panzer division with panzer regiment, two panzer grenadier regiments and strong supporting forces.

After week of fighting Das Reich has suffered heavy casualties against our forces, but has just received strong reinforcements. Divisions infantry strength is estimated at 90% and it has over 150 tanks including 50 Tigers and Ferdinands.

Das Reich is located on right flank of II SS panzer Corps with mission to defend this flank in support of two other SS divisions (Adolf Hitler and Totenkopf) that are attacking towards Prokhorovka.

The II SS Corps has outrun its supporting forces, so its right flank maybe vulnerable for flank attacks.
