I’ve seen some excellent pictures online of the models people have created for IED and objective markers for Force on Force. This is my first attempt.

We play Force on Force with 20 mm figures, so I used some 1/72 diorama accessories I had lying around (perhaps from Fujimi) and HO scale crates, bags and wheelbarrows from a Preiser model railroad set. They are based on Fenris Games laser-cut 25 mm ply bases I got from ebay.

The landscaping is done with acrylic modeling paste, the grass tufts are by Army Painter. The rocks are bits of cork.
