To get into the mood of upcoming 1st Bull Run we decided to go to Mr V and watch Manassas, End of innocence, a dramatized documentary of the battle he bought while visiting the battlefield.

We also watched the relevant parts (and some more until general Jackson’s demise) of Gods and Generals, which was a very recommendable movie but unfortunately so very long that we didnät have any chance of watching the whole of it.
