The third Finnish DBM tournament was organized over the Easter Holidays 2000. A third of the players who had enrolled to the event fell victim to a flu epidemic, but the eight who could make it had a great time, playing four rounds over two days.

For the first time GeMiGaBoK awarded the Fluffy Dice of Gold Award for the Worst Luck Demonstrated by a Player. Against all expectations our resident master of the hexed dice, Mr Lönnqvist, did not win this coveted award.

The Awards and Winners were:

  • Most points scored: "Tumba" Snäll with Classical Indian - 36 points
  • Fluffy Dice of Gold for the Worst Luck: P. Mikkonen with Later Carthaginian
  • Best Camp: V. Vaara - Early Imperial Roman, A. Vuorenvirta - Teutonic knights
  • Best Painted Army: A. Anttila - Middle Frankish
  • Best Painted Single Element: A. Anttila - Middle Frankish General. V. Vaara - Roman Galley
  • Best Sportsman: A. Anttila, P. Mikkonen
  • Best Terrain Feature: A. Vuorenvirta - Stone Bridge
