The Yorkist army took to the fields of DBMättö for the second time. They used their trusted tactics well, shooting most opponents to bits. Their downfall proved to be lady luck in a carnage of a battle against the Indians, and a devastating night attack by the Franks.

"It was easy for me to chose the War of the Roses, Yorkist army. Maybe because it's my only DBM army. This was my second tournament with them and something like games 7-10 as c-in-c of army. Naturally I took all the bowmen I have, with some knightly support. I also decided to try out artillery, which didnt work as well as I expected. My very simple basic plan was to try to put the ally general into harms way, support him with my largest command and have mounted reserve under army general. I would soften up the advancing enemy with fire and smash him with counterattack. However I didn't plan to just wait, but also maneuver to get into good shooting positions. Once during nightbattle, I tried something different and planned to supprise my enemy with charging the warband columns with only my knights. Sadly I couldnt cause enough casualties to break him and was overwhelmed... As special note, my ally general has been very reliable and after this tournament I have 10 straight games without any problems.

I bought the army already painted, so I can't really comment on painting."
